Peach Green Smoothie | 1 1/2 peaches (Mine were canned so I also added about 2 Tablespoons of the peach juice.) 1 banana, 1-2 cups baby spinach, 1 teaspoon flaxseed, 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder (I use Designer Whey), 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 cup almond milk (or milk of choice), 6-8 ice cubes -- Layer all ingredients except for ice in blender. Blend on medium speed until well combined and smooth. Add ice cubes and blend again until thick and creamy. Slurp up!
Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie 1 cup of chopped Kale 1/2 an apple (I play this by ear, depending on the size of the apple) 3/4 to 1 cup of blueberries (this is what gives it it’s beautiful color! I also use frozen, makes my drink colder) 1 banana 1/2 cup uncooked oats (I have been using regular oats [not the quick ones] but I’m sure the quick ones will work just as great) 1 cup unsweetened almond milk Optional: 1/2 tsp cinnamon
¼ cup almond milk, unsweetened ½ cup cottage cheese, 2% 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, unsweetened 1 scoop whey protein powder, unsweetened 2 droppers full liquid chocolate stevia or ¼ teaspoon plain powder or 1 packet 1 cup crushed ice Instructions Add your almond milk, cottage cheese and cocoa powder to your blender first. Once well blended add the rest of the ingredients to your blender. Taste and adjust sweetener if needed. Enjoy immediately!
Lean Green Smoothie | In a blender, combine 1 1/2 C 1% low-fat milk, 1 chopped frozen banana, 1 C baby spinach, 2 TB old-fashioned rolled oats, 1 TB ground flaxseed, and 1 tsp. honey. Blend until smooth, and enjoy.
