beautiful things you notice when you're not in the car: Queen Anne's Lace #mumswalk

Looks to be Daucus carota (Queen Anne's Lace AKA wild carrot). I prefer her refined cousin, Ammi majus (AKA Bishops Flower). Both are easy to grow...Bishop's Flower is annual and without the habitual self sowing of Queen Anne's Lace, but the Queen is free for gathering in wild places and also dries nicely.

Queen Anne's Lace in a vintage tin. We always have antique & vintage tins in currently trendy colors and patterns. #OldisthenewNew

Queen Ann's Lace... Invasive but so gorgeous! /// Is this baby breathe or another thing altogether?

Daucus carota - Queen Anne's Lace - Use as filler for a lacy, 'transparent' effect in the garden bed with verbena bonariensis, lavender, salvia, lambs ears, etc, the mediterranean garden.

Queen Ann's Lace. As a child, I was told this was a "weed", but I believe it is more accurately a wildflower -- and I happen to love them.

I never understood why Queen Anne's Lace was weeded from the garden, and I still don't understand. They're good food for the butterflies (maybe the bees, too) and they're too beautiful to dig up.
