Hall in his Chaparral 2G closes on Charlie Hayes driving a much modified McKee Mk.7 at Road America, 1967. Hayes' talent was largely responsible for the old McKee being as fast as it was. Firestone being well behind Goodyear was another contributor to the relatively poor debut of the 2G. Dave Friedman photo.
