*CHALKBOARD HERB GARDEN* First get some clay pots and tape off what you don't want painted with painters tape. Also put a piece of tape over the hole on the bottom so paint doesn't sneak in... Prime your clay pots with inexpensive primer-I used the kind you spray on... Brush on one coat of chalkboard paint, wait an hour and apply the second coat... DIY FLOWER POTS :: Chalkboard Collage Pots Tutorial :: Basicially just paint the rim of terra cotta pots w/ chalkboard paint. After it dries, label the pots w/ the name of each plant (try a grease pencil instead of chalk) or even make a note of the fertilizing/watering needs. One reader said to coat the inside of the pot w/ terra cotta sealer or the moisture from the dirt inside "pushes" the paint right off. | #chalkboardpaint #flowerpots #marthastewart

Can remember picking fresh parsley, tarragon and chives almost daily in my Grandmère's "kitchen" garden.

cedar leaning planters! i'd love 1 (or 3!) to grow a garden of herbs on our lanai. with a bad back, it'd be easier to garden w/o bending. Handmade by my bff's (@Cyndy Andrews Ristucci husband! $39
