    I went to Lake Michigan for the first time a few weeks ago. We went to Ludington, Manistee, and Arcadia. Wow...that's all I can say. I can't believe I've lived in Michigan almost 30 years and have never been over there.

MOMENT WE'LL NEVER FORGET: We stayed at a bed and breakfast located next to the Eiffel Tower. Our young son came padding into our room and said, "Mommy, I can't sleep, the lights are flashing." We had no idea the tower was lit up by millions of lights every night.

This is on my bucket list.... To drive down an old country road in the fall and have someone take a picture behind you so you can see all the leaves flying up... I know I'm weird!! Lol

Every year for a few days in the month of February, the sun’s angle is such, that it lights up Horsetail Falls in Yosemite, as if it were on fire.

Muskegon Lighthouse, Michigan It was reported in the 1854 List of Lighthouses from a US Senate Document that the single keeper tended one light for a salary of $350 per year and the lighthouse was lit by six lamps, presumably Lewis Lamps. 34
