“The Gilmore Car Museum is so much more than just a tribute to a collection of historic automobiles” explains Keith Crain, Detroit publisher of AutoWeek Magazine. “With the museum’s newest construction projects, its onsite museum partners, incredible grounds, outstanding programming and world-class collections it is truly becoming the nation’s premier auto museum.”

Detroit gets a bad rap, period! It has problems like any other city; check out the city and its people...we're like none other...and welcome you to visit.

Culture shock is questionable. Detroit has always been home to many, many populations. They're not necessarily publicized in the press or in the city, but we've always had pockets of cultures that have been here for many years - yet don't make their places known. Drive around the city, and you'll find groups that have lived here for years on end.
