I can't believe you've been there....I grew up about 45 mintues north of it, in the middle of nothing. Haven't been in so long, I would love to go back and see it from a grown-up perspective!

We ran across it by accident around 12 years ago on a business trip/improvised family vacation. Jeff had to go to Traverse City, and we took an extra couple of days and went to Mackinac Island, saw some giant sand dunes, and I don't know what else...it was awesome. On our way up I was looking at the AAA Guide book to see what there was to do along the route (this was before Yelp and smart phones lol) and saw this write up about the worlds largest Christmas store, so we thought...why not? Wow...what a lovely town. We were so glad we stopped!
