home is where the art is - original journal by timssally, via Flickr

THIS is wonderful! Miss DevotedSatelite on Flickr is a very clever girl!

Vintage printable. I had to have it printed very large in order to get it to print the entire picture. But I still love it on my wall. Very unique.

A cute little Easter chick sits on a spool of pink thread that has been embellished with white trim, millinery flowers and crystals. It doubles

art journal. I would like to make one of these for my future child and include mementos and photos. I would eventually give it to them at their wedding/graduation/other life event.

Christine leaves me speechless at times. What I first noticed about her blog was that, even though it was minimalist, I was drawn to the softness of it. Her images, her words, her importance of detail. As I read further she became known to me as an artist that is real and willing to share her heart as much as her art, especially in the post about remembering her husband which I wept through. Her work is a little mixture of vintage, shabby chic, and steam punk here and there with a flair for assemblage. She uses scrapbook items a great deal and has a way of making them all work beautifully. Take a look....enjoy.

Spring chick tags. What can I do with so many beautiful tags to make? Bookmarks? Fridge magnets? What?

Adorable mini album made using a children's book! From 'Bursts of Creativity' blog.
