The Belgian cult brewery of Liefmans started brewing in 1679. They were one of the first breweries ever to blend beer, with the intent of preserving them for the hot summer. Liefmans Fruitesse blends wheat beer with natural berry juices. It then matures for 18 months on cherries in the Liefmans cellar. The result is a fruity, sparkling brew with a delicate head. Served on ice.
