Sure Angry Birds will keep your child entertained, one could even stretch it and say “they are learning about geometry.” Still, there are much better educational apps out there for your iPhone or iPad that will actually make learning FUN. This Ipad app is effective for many reasons. Because the app incorporates listening touching and visual, it can be effective for all learners. This app breaks up words into multiple pieces and allows the user to listen to each part individually then the word as a whole. This strategy of breaking down words was one that observed in my practicum.

Stack the States--wish they had this for android!

Classroom Library file...allows you to keep your classroom books filed on your iPod, iphone, or iPad and check them in and out to kids. No more losing books. I must get this up and running!
