"Develop interest in life as you see it; in people, things, literature, music - the world is so rich, simply throbbing with rich treasures, beautiful souls and interesting people. Forget yourself." Henry Miller Henry Miller

Henry Miller (December 26th 1891 - June 7th 1980). Photographed here at L’hôtel des Terrasses, Paris, by Brassaï, 1931. Miller was an American writer known for breaking with existing literary forms. Famously involved with writer Anais Nin, he corresponded with her for nearly twenty years. Their literary friendship became sexual in 1932, which led to some of the most passionate letters ever written. It is thought that Nin also had a sexual relationship with June Miller, Henry's second wife.
