    Black lace votive candle ~ Use white lace for winter/Christmas Materials: Glass votive candles A yard or two of black lace trim Needle and thread Pick up a yard or two of black lace trim (can be found at Michaels or Jo-ann's) and cut off a strip that covers the perimeter of your glass votive candle. Using a needle and black thread, overlap the edges and make small stitches to tack in place.

    Take black lace trim and cut to fit around a votive holder, sew together and there ya go. Use different colors of lace for different atmosphere.

Just pick up a yard or two of black lace trim. Cut off a strip that covers the perimeter of your votive candles. Wrap it around the votive candle and stich to tack in place using black thread.
