Time Travel With the King: '11/22/63' Book Review

11/22/63, by Stephen King, offers up a thought-provoking tale on time travel and the choices we as humans make that can shake the foundations of Earth.

"After reading the book jacket, the prologue, the entire text and the afterwards, I am going to recommend this book to everyone. THIS IS NOT A STEPHEN KING HORROR THRILLER. Though it might be considered Sci-Fi, it really is all in all, a great piece of fiction by one of the greatest writers of his generation", quote by Adam Knight , this IS going to be next!

I've never read a Stephen King book before. Thought I'd make this one, about a man who time travels to stop Kennedy's assassination, my first.

A must read. Not a typical Stephen King. More history, than horror. One of my favorite books for a long time.

  • Margaret Collins

I'm not generally a Stephen King fan, but this book is well worth reading for those who lived through that fateful year.

But here's the thing. As you fellow mommies know, spare time in the day to actually find to read a book can be hard to come by so I don't have the time or patience to "get into a book." It has to grab me from the first chapter and be so good it becomes one of those books you can't put down.

Thank you Elisabeth Donnelly! I think i shall tackle this list. "Books for fans of Gone Girl"

Only read nine of these so far. I think The Glass Castle is next, thanks to my wonderful sister-in-law who is the perfect person to recommend a book. I wish I had her in my classroom to cater to the continual requests for good recommendations in the genre of (fill in the blank).

The Help by Kathryn Stockett. This book is similar to To Kill a Mockingbird in its theme, but vastly different in plot. I loved the spunk of the characters and the way the story was told.
