An Art Nouveau pendant necklace, circa 1900. Designed as double butterfly wings in a dimensional openwork motif, applied with enamel and set with six old European-cut diamonds, three articulated pear shaped veined turquoise drops, mounted in 18K gold. Signed and with French assay mark.
Art Deco Diamond and Sapphire Butterfly Pendant Necklace, circa 1920s. The "wings" are comprised of 6radiant and sizable French-cut diamonds and a pair of square sapphires. The head centers on a bright European-cut diamond framed in electric blue calibre sapphires, and the abdomen features a center row of calibre sapphires framed by diamonds. An old mine pear shape diamond dangles below. 4.50 carats total diamond weight. An applied plaque on the reverse reads “K.A.H - A.E.H. 1865-1915”.
