Not a bad idea at all. The webpage has free printable chores that you can attach to popsicle stick. They are color coded by room, and have very specific tasks. Instead of "clean bathroom", it'll say "wash sink", "windex mirrors", "mop floor", etc.. I'll have to put some more thought into this one...

Chore Sticks! As soon as the kiddos get home from school, they grab their jar & get to work on their chores. {Their “chores” also include things like eating a snack, homework, reading along with the usual chores like cleaning your room, putting your clothes away, etc…} Have them complete all their chores before dinner. It makes evenings a lot less stressful, & more family time.

Printable chore cards for kids. Includes a "Freebie" no chores day card and a "Mom's Choice" card. Very interesting method to getting kids involved at home. Do you expect chores from your kids? Is it tied to financial reimbursement or just part of family life?

For the future: "Technology Tickets". Each Sunday give the kids 10 tickets. Each ticket = 30 minutes of t.v., game system, computer, etc. Tickets can be used consecutively, but when they are out they are out for the week. Parents still reserve the right to say "no" even if they have a ticket. LOVE it.
