I know most everyone these days dislikes winter, but for me it has always been the most magical time of the year. You can hear, see, smell, and taste more in the crisp winter air; also, I love coming inside from the cold to warm up.
I'm so glad that, on the Fourth of July, all the patriotic singing and the big brass bands and the fireworks are pretty much done after it gets dark. That way, I can pretty much sob during the entire show and no one notices. It always makes me cry. ~~ Houston Foodlovers Book Club
