Alphabet Independent Practice- Letter Recognition and Handwriting

This file has a page for each letter of the alphabet. Students color the letter, read a sentence about the letter and sound, find the focus letter, and practice writing the letter. These practice pages would be great as morning work, homework, literacy center, or during word work. These can be used as regular worksheets; they can also be printed and placed in sheet protectors to use in a center. Students love doing these papers over and over with dry erase markers as a literacy center. $

Letter Detectives

A Letter Snatcher crept into your classroom and snatched letters from words and your help as a letter detective is needed. Letter Detectives is a great hands-on literacy activity that will last you all year long. This packet is great for your Daily 5 Word Work or literacy centers.

I look forward to reading your feedback on this free item! This is a cute little welcome back to school worksheet I created to fit in with your unit on names. We plan to do lots with our names this year! Peace, Heather J Tags: names / back-to-school / literacy / fall / math / counting / letters / printables / activities
