I’ve also got four copies of the Upholsterers single. It was a band Jack did with his upholstery mentor Brian Muldoon back in 2000. Jack hand-defaced some of the business card inserts with “blood” and numbered and signed those. I tracked down copy #1 last year and found #3 a while earlier. The white card is an odd variant he only did three of. The challenge of tracking these down is always fun.

The sleeve of the record a yet unknown Jack White hid in furniture that he and partner Brian Muldoon recorded as a two-piece band known as "The Upholsterers". This second single was finally found by some lucky sonovabitch who'd better bloody well appreciate such a find.

▶ The Upholsterers - Apple of My Eye It was an American garage punk band in 2000, from Detroit. The two-piece band was composed of Jack White and Brian Muldoon.
