Liriope, also known as Monkey Grass is generally used as an edging plant for gardens and walkways. However, this grass-like perennial can also be planted in clumps as a groundcover. Liriope is a hardy plant, growing in full sun to partial shade; it requires little care and can tolerates humidity, heat and drought.
