1 lb mini marshmallows 2 lbs powdered sugar 1/2 c Crisco 4 Tbl water Melt MM 30 sec increments Add Crisco, and half the pwd sugar, mix. Add water one Tbl at a time alternating with the remaining sugar kneading the dough. Place it in Ziplock. add Crisco layer if drys out. To color it. Use Wiltons Gels. If a little sticky, dust it with cornstarch until smooth.
Making marshmallow fondant is so easy and very satisfying. This fondant I use for covering figures, covering cakes but not for anything that needs to dry hard and hold a shape.
