Prevent side cramps while running: Don't fill up on food OR too much H2O right before a run. Stretch AND warmup to get blood flowing before overtaxing muscles. Breathe DEEPER while running; breathe in tempo to your steps, about one inhale to every 2-4 steps. Also breathe through your nose, esp in colder temps, to warm and keep air moist before it hits your lungs.
