Sweet Hawaiian Crockpot Chicken 2 lb. Chicken tenderloin chunks 1 cup pineapple juice ½ cup brown sugar ⅓ cup soy sauce Directions Crockpot 6-8 hours

I tried this recipe and after 5 hrs of being in the crock pot, the chicken began to get dry and there was no thickness to the liquids used.

I made this a while ago and the key is to put 1 or 2 tablespoons of corn starch in it 30 min.- an hour so that it willl thicken. Also, even on low, I didn't cook it as long as the directions said. In about 4-5 hours it was done and ready to eat. This way it did not overcook or dry out. I used canned pineapple chunks along with the juice. I browned the chicken first with corn starch in olive oil. That gave it a bit of a crunch.
