I joined the yarn on the right-hand side, in the last turquoise single crochet. From that point on, I made chains, joined them into the work with slip-stitches, then single-crocheted back over the chain to another joining point. Back and forth, varying the length of the chains, I continued making chains and single crochets to create a lacy shape.
At the lower left side, under the entrelac section, I’ve made a small, yellow wedge using knitted short rows. For this wedge, I picked up 17 stitches then turned and knit back to the beginning. Next, I knit 10 sts, turned, and knit back to the beginning. Then 7, then 10, then 17
