A perfect technique for baked oven fries. Seriously perfect technique. Some of the best fries I've ever eaten. And they didn't come out of a deep-fryer! They came out of my oven!! I got this recipe at http://cheap-cuisine.com/posts/A-perfect-technique-for-baked-oven-fries-58785
Potatoes From Pioneer Woman- amazing! I used fresh rosemary sprigs on top of mine and served with pork loin- these would have been great with fish too! Another pinner recommends using chicken broth in place of the olive oil.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Brush both side of potato slices with butter; place them on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until lightly browned on both sides, turning once. When potatoes are ready, top with bacon and cheese and continue baking until the cheese has melted.
