Several times during the school year, students and faculty engage in enrichment days. Last week, students went on a hiking tour of the Appalachian trail, while another group visited WLOS news. Students also went to Titan Farms and to a glassblowing studio. Some Greenies stayed at Christ School to compete in a Quiz Bowl or to interview Veterans.
On February 7, over a hundred Greenie Moms arrived on campus for Christ School's first Mother/Son Weekend. Thanks to planning by a group of Greenie moms, families enjoyed a memorable weekend around Asheville and on campus - featuring LaZoom bus tours, a trip to the Biltmore Estate, and community service with MANNA Food Bank. Dinner was a festive event on campus with live music and Asheville's eclectic food trucks. Thanks for joining us, Moms!
If you're near Asheville Saturday, January 10, stop by Christ School and help cheer for the Greenies varsity basketball team as they host Covenant Day School at 3:00 p.m. http://www.christschool.org/page.cfm?p=276 Go Greenies! We will also have a live-stream so you can watch from home: www.christschool.org/live
