MV NESTOR; she was the very last Blue Funnel Ship when she was sold. Built in 1976 in Saint-Nazaire, she never carried a commercial cargo with Ocean and upon delivery she was laid up in Loch Striven with her sister ship Nedlloyd's MV Gastor for 17 years. There was a brief return to the ship yard for both vessels in the 80's to repair a design error. In 1993 Gastor became LNG LAGOS and Nestor LNG Port Harcourt. Both are still in service.
