Oral Language Development Center or work station idea This idea is a Conversation Station which encourages students to interact and have conversations with each other. They are given topics and are to converse and come up with stories from these given topics. CCSS.ELA-Literacy.SL.K.1 Participate in collaborative conversations with diverse partners about kindergarten topics and texts with peers and adults in small and larger groups.
INSTRUCTION: This activity provides time and space for students to converse in small groups, practice oral and reading vocabulary, and develop confidence speaking and sharing in a second language. This would be a great activity for ELL students especially because its a small group and its student paced.

Belief Statements: I believe that teachers should strive to know their students as individuals with unique learning styles, strengths, and weaknesses, and teachers should use this knowledge to develop lessons and interventions that best suit each child. As a special education teacher, I will develop unique, adaptable lessons that can be changed in order to meet the needs of each student and encourage their education growth and success.
Information about 7 types of intelligences and learning styles that go with them. Multiple intelligences and learning styles are very closely linked because your type of intelligence determines how your brain processes information best, and that is very important in learning new things.
