Natural Way to Scrub Your Tub, from Martha Stewart This is a nontoxic but effective way to clean your tub: Add one teaspoon of liquid soap and several drops of an antibacterial essential oil (such as tea tree, eucalyptus, rosemary, or peppermint) to one cup of baking soda. Add just enough water to form a paste, and use it with a sponge or brush to scour bathtub surfaces.
* For us Southern girls who grew up being told to NEVER EVER wash your cast irons with soap...scrub your cast iron with coarse salt and a soft sponge. The salt is a natural abrasive and will absorb oil and lift away bits of food while preserving the pan's seasoning. Rinse away salt and wipe dry. FINALLY!!!!
Homemade Tub & Tile Cleaner -- use ingredients from the dollar store and this cleaner is really inexpensive! Plus, it works really well!
3/4 cup baking soda (you can add a little more if it seems a little thin after it’s all mixed together.) 1/4 cup castile soap (I used Dr. Bronners Citrus Orange) Mix baking soda and soap first then add remaining ingredients. 1 Tablespoon water 10-15 drops of tea tree oil 1 Tablespoon vinegar
Tea Tree Toilet Bowl Cleaner: Pour in 1/2 cup of baking soda and 10 drops of tea tree oil into the toilet bowl. Get the toilet brush ready and add 1/4 cup of vinegar to the bowl. As it fizzes, scrub the toilet.
Pinning so I will DO this....The "miracle" of baking soda and peroxide. Put 1/4 cup of baking soda in a bowl.....add enough peroxide to make a paste. Rub on with fingers or sponge. Cleans EVERYTHING!
