So many awesome elements all incorporated into one piece… usually I would hate a tattoo that runs straight down the back and doesn’t make use of the space on either side of the spine, but in this case, the negative space serves a design function, as the "corset" element. Clever design and beautiful execution.
This, is HIGHLY impressive. I very much enjoy the quality of this tattoo artistry... It would require so much time and shading... but I very much like the look of the end result. I'm not sure I'd ever want anything like it for myself, but I very much admire it, and the (as currently) unknown artist who inked it in.
This tattoo is actually a replica of a beautiful piece of art work. I'm unsure of the original artist's name though. The tattoo artist that replicated it however, did a spot-on job. It looks almost exactly like the original. (click the link to see the original artwork.)
Kinda crazy to think a simple item like a skull could have so many creative outcomes. The relationship that artist and designers have with skulls is unexplainable. Usually when people think of a skull, they automatically symbolize it with death. Some of the artworks listed below express that fact quite a few times. While we cannot escape it, death scares some people. If you hate skulls, then obviously this collection is not for you.
