Project Inspiration: Pulling Off a Patterned Floor

As part of making over my parents’ mudroom, one of the projects we’re planning is going to be repainting the plywood floor. I’ve got big stripes in mind, and I found plenty of online inspiration for patterned floors.Patterned floors can vary between rustic and glamorous or bold and classic, and sometimes a little of each — just look at that Oval Office flooring (Image 10).
