A fine country Hepplewhite tall clock with scrolled fretwork, reeded plinths, hood columns and quarter columns on case, double-glassed case door, and cut out base. Figured birch, in original surface. Painted and gilded dial with urn and shell decoration. Eight day works, southeastern NH, probably by Kennard, Newmarket, c.1815. Exceptional condition, with only a very small repair to one scroll on the fret. 89" ht. From the Atwood family of Tilton, NH.
