Photo of Pennhurst State "school" and hospital circa 1922. One of the most haunted places in America. Opened around 1908 and was intended for the mentally and physically diabled individuals of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Whispers of abuse and torture of it's patients utlitmately led to it's closure in 1987.
Rural Mount. Morristown, Tennessee. Built in 1799 by Alexander Outlaw for his son-in-law Joseph Hamilton. Both of these men were instrumental in founding the States of Franklin and later Tennessee. This building was recently added to the Tennessee Preservation Trust's "Ten in Tennessee" list.
