Papua New Guinea © Timothy Allen So sweet!
“SAWABONA” is a common greeting among the tribes of northern Natal in South Africa and it literally means “I SEE YOU” As to say, “I respect and acknowledge you for who you are” In return people say “SIKBONA” which literally means “I AM HERE” as to say “When you see me you bring me into existence”.
Photograph from the amazing Human Planet photographer Timothy Allen. I love this photo as it shows such a small and touching moment between people and that is often what life is about, those small and precious moments!

Here's a flower using Rhodes stitch hearts for the petals and oyster stitch for the leaves.
gorgeous tree embroidery would look lovely on a pillowcase
crochet rug - not sure that I would make a rug or pillows but love the color scheme. nice for a nautical themed nursery for a very special boy.
window crochet - this is lovely. My bathroom window is due for a new curtain. This has me thinking, even without a pattern to go with it.
