Fried Apples: 2 Tablespoons butter 6-8 apples (I imagine most any variety would work, except red and golden delicious.) 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon Peel and slice apples. Melt butter in a heavy skillet. Add apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Saute on medium (maybe medium-low) heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring frequently. Serve warm.
