Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 photo editing software ($150). This is the first tool I use after I create a new photograph, and usually the last one too! It helps me keep my photo library organized, manages uploading stuff to my website and social networking, and allows me to do most of the post-production work that photographers used to do in a darkroom.

Love photoshop. Would love to upgrade but I just bought my CS5 extended last summer so I probable will not. This program is great for digital scrapbooking too.
