Colorado Style Green Chili, Slow Cooker

Serves 1

Meat

2 slices Bacon
1 lb Pork shoulder

Produce

3 tbsp Cilantro
1 head Garlic
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 (8 ounce) can Green chilies
1 (4 ounce) can Jalapenos
1 Tomato, big
1 Yellow onion, medium

Canned Goods

6 cups Chicken broth

Baking & Spices

1/2 cup Flour
1 1/2 tsp Salt

Nuts & Seeds

1 tbsp Cumin, powder

Liquids

1 1/2 cups Water

If I were on a deserted island and could only have one food item for the rest of my life...without hesitation it would be green chili sauce. This is the best version of a Colorado style green chili sauce I have found. This is SOOOOOOOOO worth all the work it takes to make it. It would be amazing with enchiladas, breakfast burritos, burgers, eggs, and oatmeal (ok maybe not so much). Do your self and your love ones a favor, make this sauce. I personally recommend cooking it on the stove and not a slow cooker. It will save you time in the long run and it won't get so watered down. I usually make it vegetarian which is still out of this world and takes off even more time from cooking. I ♥ this stuff. I am done declaring my devotion to green chili sauce, now go make it
