Between Casper and Thermopolis is Boysen State Park, known for its walleye and trout fishing, and surrounded by the Wind River Indian Reservation. Next the Wind River Canyon Scenic Byway takes you into Thermopolis. Known for white water rafting, the Wyoming Dinosaur Center and Hot Springs State Park (great for a mid-road-trip soak).
