How To Feed A New Mother: In the Air Force, we always prepare meals for new moms in the squadrons because we all don't have family with us to help us out. This blog post is very informative about what types of food you could make a new mom to ensure she is getting all of the nutrients she needs after giving birth.

This includes some great feeding therapy principles: one food at a time, pack in protein and veggies/fruits first, then other foods. Transition from food to food so there is a just noticeable difference between foods offered to the toddler (e.g. square cheese, then round cheese, then round cracker, etc.)

Tips for taking dinner to a family in need (ie after the birth of a child, home from the hospital, sick, etc) This will be helpful for group at church When taking a meal to a family, include activity for the kids to do so parents can have a "break"
