Giant Anteater...(Myrmecophaga tridactyla) also known as the ant bear. It is a large insectivorous mammal native to Central and South America. It is one of four living species of anteaters and is classified with sloths in the order Pilosa.

I watched a television show where they explained how the distinct pattern on the mother's back carries over onto the baby's back, so that when the baby is riding on the mother it is absolutely camouflaged. You could barely tell the baby was there!
