My lilies are starting to bloom! Mine seem to bloom a little later than everyone else's- perhaps because they don't get a full days worth of sun. These are in the garden in the back by the shed.
The Tickseed is blooming! I planted it this Spring in my side garden on the north side of the house under a tree.
Black and blue salvia
I purchased two rhododendrons at the end of last year's growing season, and they've really taken off this year. This is the first bloom I've gotten from them and they're absolutely gorgeous. I've planted them on the north side of the house next to our central air unit. I'm hopeful they'll fill in nicely and hide it! They're evergreen so at least they'll provide visual interest in the winter!
These light and airy hardy geraniums add a cottage feel to my front landscaping
Dragons wing begonias greet visitors in the barrels by my front door
The basket I put together with geraniums, two kinds of sweet potato vines, a spike, and vinca that I dug up from on of my beds. I put this basket on the stump near my sunny mulch / tree island close to the pool.
