Dutch doors instead of a baby gate! Great idea for kid's rooms.

Have these in my house and love them!!! Would never have a regular door for a child's room. Dutch Door For Kids Room - beats the heck out of a baby gate!

Dutch doors in kids room- great idea! The kids are secure in their rooms, but the door is still open.

This is such a great idea! -- a half door for kids' room. No baby gate needed!

Gate door

I share your love of dutch doors thebeesknees, we want one for Will's room :)

I've seen these Dutch doors used for a child's room or play room. Kind of like a baby gate so you can keep them from crawling all over the house but still be able to hear them playing.

Dutch doors are darling. This one is missing the "shelf" they usually have at the top of the bottom door. Handy for leaning on while you enjoy your domain

A secured-to-the-wall half door instead of a wedged in baby gate. Interesting. Bonus is that it doesn't have to be permanent if you don't want it to be...unscrew it, patch things up. Voila!

love the exposed brick backsplash and the farm house sink. I want exposed brick in my kitchen instead of tile.

Genius! half door for any baby/kids room so you can hear if they wake, but they can't wander the house alone or play in their room while u cook, shower, clean.

love the barreled trees flanking the black door...images via Hemnet | Valvet Mäklarfirma
