blkmoodyboi is an Afro-Indigenous Caribbean, non-binary and self-taught illustrator who centres Black and Brown transgender people in their art; portrayed in joy whilst also acknowledging the struggle and political resistance they face. "The piece is a Trans Black Utopia, a world were we get to exist, grow old, learn, live and love each other. I am because we are, I am who I am thanks to the people that are around me and who came before me. They mean everything, we owe a lot to each other."
