I will be SO tempted to cover my entire house with maps . . . in between all the books that is. ; )

so, do this, make sure where you live in on a letter, and then put a heart on it. "Home is where the heart is"

DIY Map covered letters. Would be cool to cover with maps of meaningful places. Could do each child's name and a map of the state with the city they were born in for each kid!

I bought maps of the places we visited on our honeymoon specifically for this project-so sweet!

GO map letters -- $15 -- from CarolinaCottage on etsy.com I've been wanting to decoupage letters for a while. A new years seems to be a good time to try a new item; so here we go... I decoupaged the word "GO" in vintage maps. These maps happen to be of Michigan and Wisconsin; chosen mostly for their vibrant colors. The entire letter is painted black and varnished to a glossy shine. The letters are made of solid wood and are protected with 3 coats of varnish. Each letter is 9" tall, 7" wide and 1/4" deep. There is a hole in the back for hanging or the letters can be set on a table or shelf. Other words and/or letters available. Please contact me.

Fun map chair. It would be so awesome to just have everything covered in maps. Travel without leaving the house.

Going to do one with each of the kids birth cities - Buy a wooden letter at the craft store and glue a map (like your hometown!) to the front. #map
