CHARLES II OAK AND ELM HANGING MURAL CUPBOARD. ENGLISH. CIRCA 1680.  THE CENTRAL STRAPWORK CARVED DOOR WITH ORIGINAL BUTTERFLY HINGES AND LOCK, FLANKED BY PLAIN PANELS. THE TOP, SIDES AND BACK ARE MADE FROM ELM.

Oh, Little Stool, someone has used you harshly, but I love you anyway. AMERICAN COUNTRY PAINTED PINE STOOL, solid seat with cut-out sides carved with initials "P. T. D" on one side, solid ends joined by lower stretchers. Worn medium green paint over the original dark-green-painted surface. Circa 1880-1910. 19 1/2" H, 15" x 11" seat.
