Rose Kennedy on Grief - It has been said that time heals all wounds. I do not agree. The wounds remain. In time, the mind protecting it's sanity, covers them with scar tissue, and the pain lessens, but it is never gone.
This is what our Southern mothers taught us to do. If anyone is being ugly to you, you DO NOT stoop to their level. You "Kill them with kindness". By the way, that doesn't always work. But, it makes your Mama happy.
