Ancient Greeks appreciated the health benefits of mineral-rich water & soaked in seawater-filled pools & hot tubs. Hippocrates first used the word "thalassotherapy" to describe the healing effects of seawater. Why is soaking or swimming in sea salt water so therapeutic?
