FRESH SCENT HOMEMADE FABRIC SOFTENER If you are a fan of my homemade No-Grate Laundry Soap but miss the “fragrance” aspect of it…have I got an idea for you! Basically it takes the two most basic “fabric softening” substances….baking soda and vinegar….and adds a little scent love. Thanks to Poppy at Poppy’s Money Tree House for the inspiration! Fabric Softener 1 quart glass bottle of white vinegar, add 25 drops of Lavender essential oil + 1 tsp rubbing alcohol (for emulsion). You now have a quart of naturally softening fabric softener! Good for your skin, good for your appliance and good for the planet! Pour 1/2 cup into the rinse cycle or into a fabric softener receptacle and start the wash cycle.

Homemade cleaner/degreaser! My version of this recipe is half water, vinegar, a few squeezes of the BLUE Dawn dish soap. Some people prefer an old clean ketchup bottle to squeeze, makes for less fumes.

The only stain remover you will ever need! 1 part Dawn dishwashing liquid 2 parts hydrogen peroxide I poured the cleaner right on the spots and used an old toothbrush to make sure it really got into the carpet. I let it sit for maybe 30 seconds and then I blotted it with a wet towel. carpet, clothing, etc
