While tile backsplashes are lovely, they aren't always necessary. To save a few bucks consider using a smaller amount of tile like they did in this kitchen. Budget Saver: A single row of sculptural accent tile adds a decorative touch; beaded board give inexpensive texture to the backsplash. Linoleum counters provide a clean, neutral look and are much cheaper than granite or marble.
Definitely need to build some storage in both bathrooms. This is awesome because it fulfills my obsession with beaded board, without turning a modern style room into cottage style. My perfect combination of both.
Pinner said: DIY getting rid of carpet stairs Oh my goodness this saved us so much. We just finished our stairs and they look beautiful. Our stairs cost us about $50, we didn't know under the carpet we had were painted wood stairs with adhesive tile on them. Now they look like this.
This bathroom from Rate My Space proves that a black and white color scheme doesn't have to be masculine or modern. Black walls and white fixtures make the feminine touches, like a chandelier, drapery around the tub and floral decor stand out. Design by Rate My Space user KT Designs
