Salt dough recipe: 1 cup plain (all purpose) flour (NOT self-raising!) 1 cup salt 3/4 cup warm water Stir the flour and salt together then mix in the water gradually until it forms a slightly sticky dough. All you need is: Balloons Vaseline Crafting paint brush Nylon string or yarn Fabric stiffener Source Rub balloons with vaseline so balloons won't stick. Wrap string tightly around balloon until you've got a pattern you like. Paint on fabric stiffener or homemade paper mache paste so it covers string completely. Dry on wax paper, pop the balloons and voila! A pretty little string ball.
