Blackberry Martini ---- 4 oz vodka 1 oz triple sec 1 oz fresh lemon juice 1 oz simple syrup 1 oz blackberry puree Puree - 1 cup blackberries (fresh or thawed frozen) In food processor until smooth. Strain through fine mesh sieve to remove seeds. Yields 1/2 cup puree. SImple Syrup - Heat 2 cups sugar and 2 cups water, cover and simmer for 2 min until sugar dissolves. When cool store in glass jar with lid and refrigerate up to 6 mos.
BLUE OCEAN 1 oz. vodka 1/2 oz. blue curacao 1/3 oz. grapefruit juice 1-2 splashes simple syrup Add all ingredients to a shaker filled with ice; shake, then strain and serve either straight up in a martini glass or over ice. Garnish with an orange slice & tropical flower.
